As part of Legacy College of Compostela's continuing efforts to strengthen its educational leadership, College President Atty. Joji Bernadette Ancog-Casidsid participated in the three-day executive course, "Transforming Philippine Education Through Effective Policy Reforms," held from July 8 to 10, 2026 at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Bukit Timah Campus. The program was organized by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) in partnership with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
The executive course brought together school heads, administrators, and education leaders from across the Philippines to discuss current educational issues and examine policy approaches that respond to the changing needs of schools and higher education institutions. Through lectures, workshops, and learning visits, participants explored evidence-based policy development and gained insights from Singapore's education system.
During the three-day program, participants attended sessions on the future of university curricula, technology in teaching, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), data analytics and public policy, education policy-making, and strategic planning. The program also included a learning visit to Temasek Polytechnic, where participants observed educational practices that promote innovation, industry collaboration, and student-centered learning.
Atty. Joji's participation reflected Legacy College of Compostela's commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. The knowledge and experiences gained from the executive course are expected to support the College's ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional planning, enhance academic programs, and further improve the quality of education and services it provides.
