The students of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management from Legacy College of Compostela proved that excellence extends far beyond the classroom after securing the First Runner-Up title in the AdFest 2026 Quiz Bowl Competition held at Robinsons Place Tagum.


Facing the brightest minds from colleges and universities across Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, and Davao del Sur, the Legacian team stood out with teamwork and a deep understanding of marketing and advertising. Each round became a display of quick thinking, creativity, and determination\u2014qualities that future marketers must possess in an ever-evolving industry.



Representing the college in the prestigious competition were Chieene De Lara, Sheryl Ann Bacalso, and Dimple Grace Claros, whose outstanding performance earned recognition and pride for their school. Their success reflected the determination and hard work of young marketers striving to leave a mark in the industry.

The Legacy College of Compostela\u2019s Faculty and Staff Year-End Party, held on December 13, 2025, at D\u2019Fortees Nature Park and Inland Resort in Montevista, celebrated the LCC team\u2019s commitment throughout the academic year. The event brought together teaching and administrative staff for a warm, celebratory gathering to recognize collective milestones, strengthen interdepartmental unity, and express the institution\u2019s sincere gratitude for their tireless service.



The highlight of the celebration was the Acapella Christmas Carol competition, where the Senior High School faculty emerged as the winner. The program also featured Talentadong Legacian, which showcased the talents of each department along with the Best Dressed Awards that added color and excitement to the event.



As part of the Christmas celebration, all faculty and staff members received gifts through a raffle, ensuring that everyone went home with a present. Participants were allowed to choose the items they preferred, including practical gifts such as sacks of rice, kitchen utensils, and other household essentials. Legacy College of Compostela joyfully commemorated its 30th Founding Anniversary on November 6, 2025, marking three decades of academic excellence and community engagement. The day began with an energetic Fun Run, which united students, faculty, staff, and alumni in an enthusiastic display of school spirit and camaraderie. The Fun Run saw active participation across all levels, fostering a strong sense of unity and friendly competition. Participants of all ages laced up their running shoes, eager to contribute to the celebratory atmosphere. Cheers and laughter filled the air as runners made their way to the finish line.



The excitement was high as we celebrated the amazing runners in our Fun Run. From the fast-paced competitors in the 3 km category to those who went the distance in the 5 km and 10 km runs, witnessing their expressions of joy and fulfillment perfectly captured the essence of the day. The fun did not end there, as the event also featured a raffle with exciting prizes. Congratulations were extended to all the lucky winners.



LCC marked the second day of its 30th Founding Anniversary with a series of significant events this morning. On November 7, 2025, the students, teachers, staff, and stakeholders gathered to celebrate the event.



The day commenced with a Thanksgiving Mass, offering gratitude for the institution's enduring success and contributions. Following the Mass, the 30th Founding Anniversary Ceremonies began at 9:30 AM. A special highlight of the ceremonies was the acknowledgement and appreciation for Mrs. Jovita R. Ancog, Co-Founder of the school, whose birthday coincides with this momentous day. The ceremonies also included the unveiling of a Photo Exhibit chronicling the college's history, the presentation of Loyalty Awards to long-serving faculty and staff, recognition of key Stakeholders, the launch of the college's Official Website, and a series of Inspirational Messages.



In the afternoon, there was a joyful celebration thoroughly enjoyed by all. Day 2 featured inspirational messages and captivating cultural presentations. Students and faculty alike delivered memorable performances during the Sayawitan, showcasing their talents through different song and dance performances. The Laro ng Lahi instilled a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie among the teachers, adding to the day's happiness and fun. The sun set on this memorable day, LCC looks forward to many more years of growth, unity, and success.

Intramurals Day 1 was a thrilling start, packed with action on both the basketball court and the volleyball court! The men's and women's teams delivered incredible performances, showcasing their dedication and teamwork. From powerful spikes to impressive three-pointers, the energy was high, and the competition was fierce. Every game was a testament to the athletes' hard work and passion for their sports.



The morning of October 27, 2025, was overflowing with energy and excitement at the Compostela Municipal Gymnasium as the second day of Intramurals 2025 unfolded. The day began with a grand float parade, where each team proudly showcased their creativity, unity, and school spirit through vibrant designs and lively themes. It was followed by the banner raising competition, where every team displayed their pride and teamwork. Capping off the morning\u2019s lineup was the presentation of the candidates of the Mr. and Ms. LCC 20215 and the Power Dance Competition, which electrified the gymnasium with dynamic performances, powerful choreography, and undeniable passion. Each team gave their all, proving that the morning events were not just competitions, but celebrations of talent, collaboration, and camaraderie.



The afternoon of October 27, 2025, was truly a showcase of intellect and creativity as students gathered for the Literary Afternoon at the Compostela Municipal Gymnasium. Participants engaged in various competitions that tested their wit, critical thinking, and artistry, while others enjoyed challenging mind games that brought out both focus and fun. As the evening commenced, the excitement continued with the much-awaited Sayawitan Night\u2014 a celebration of talent, rhythm, and expression. Students took the stage with confidence and passion, captivating the audience with their performances. Congratulations to the winners: Vikings (BSBA) for winning both the Contemporary Dance and Hip-hop Dance, Aztecs (BEED & BSED) for their graceful Folk Dance performance, Trojans (BSIT & BSTM) for claiming victory in the Voice of Legacy, and again to the Vikings (BSBA) for dominating the Duet and Trio categories.



October 28, 2025, marked the third day of our Intramurals, and it did not disappoint! The morning was alive with energy as the ball games continued, showcasing the athletic prowess and teamwork of our students. From volleyball spikes to basketball shots, the spirit of competition was alive and well on the courts. In the afternoon was the Mobile Legends tournament, where our skilled gamers demonstrated their strategic thinking and lightning-fast reflexes.



Day 4 of the Intramural Celebration was highlighted by the awarding ceremony recognizing outstanding teams and athletes for their exemplary performances throughout the competitions, marking a moment of achievement and sportsmanship for participants. The program also featured short Larong Lahi games, which added a festive and cultural touch to the event as students actively participated in traditional Filipino games.



Overall, the four-day celebration successfully showcased athletic excellence, teamwork, discipline, and school unity.

Legacy College of Compostela took another meaningful step toward institutional development with the celebration of a Holy Mass and a groundbreaking ceremony at its Annex Campus on August 18, 2025. The event brought together school leaders, faculty members, and students in a shared expression of faith and optimism for the school\u2019s continuing progress.



The activity officially launched the construction of the LCC Covered Court, a project aimed at improving campus facilities and enriching student engagement. The groundbreaking rites were spearheaded by School President Atty. Joji Bernadette Ancog-Casidsid, whose leadership continues to guide the institution\u2019s growth. Also present during the ceremony were department heads, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students, all of whom demonstrated strong support for the project and the school\u2019s long-term goals.



Their presence reflected the collective commitment of the LCC community to fostering a more conducive learning environment. Upon completion, the covered court is expected to serve as a multifunctional space for athletic activities, school programs, and community events.
