TVL - COOKERY
The Cookery specialization under the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track is designed to provide Senior High School students with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management. The program trains learners in basic and advanced cooking techniques, menu planning, food safety, and sanitation procedures, preparing them for work in both local and international food service industries. Students gain hands-on experience in preparing hot and cold meals, desserts, and baked products, while learning to operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently. The course emphasizes creativity, discipline, teamwork, and professionalism, ensuring students meet industry standards in culinary operations. Upon completion, learners are ready to pursue TESDA Cookery NC II certification, equipping them for careers in hotels, restaurants, catering services, cruise ships, or entrepreneurship in the food business sector.
