Teacher Certificate Program
This unit-earning program is designed for holders of non-education bachelor’s degrees who wish to pursue a teaching career in the Philippines, as provided under CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 30, series of 2004, which sets the revised policies and standards for undergraduate teacher education and the professional education requirements for non-education graduates. The program allows enrollees to complete the 18 units of professional education required to qualify for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and is typically completed within one semester to one academic year, depending on the institution. The TCP curriculum covers essential areas such as principles of teaching and learning, child and adolescent development, assessment of learning, classroom management, and curriculum development, ensuring that graduates are adequately prepared and aligned with national standards for the teaching profession
