Trace the remarkable milestones and achievements that shaped Legacy College Of Compostela
The Beginning
Mrs. Espedita Carreon and Mrs. Lerma Valenzuela, together with Atty. Rodolfo Rapista, Mrs. Jovita Ancog, and Mrs. Isabel Camello, established the Philippine Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (PIMSAT) in Dagohoy St., Poblacion, Compostela. In November of that year, PIMSAT opened its doors with a six-month Computer Secretarial program and an initial enrollment of 65 students.
Early Expansion
Following the resignation of Mr. Alexis Bagacay, Jr., Mrs. Jovita R. Ancog assumed leadership as School Administrator and President of PIMSAT. Under her stewardship, the institution grew into the largest technical-vocational school in the province, reaching a peak of 900 learners, with 15 TESDA-accredited programs and 7 assessment centers.
